Abronia chiszari is an endangered arboreal alligator lizard described in 1981 by Smith and Smith. It is only found on the slopes of Volcano Santa Marta, in the Sierra de los Tuxtlas, Veracruz, Mexico, between elevations of 360 to 800 m.
